 Jamestown Hydrotherapy Pool and Gymnasium Fitness Centre Complex

Jamestown Hydrotherapy Pool & Jamestown Gymnasium Fitness Centre
This Council owned complex is located at 66 Irvine Street, Jamestown
(next to Jamestown Medical Centre) and incorporates a
Hydrotherapy Pool one side, with a Gymnasium Fitness Centre on the other.
The complex is air conditioned/heated and has separate
men’s and women’s change rooms and showers.

Jamestown Hydrotherapy Pool
Some proven benefits of Hydrotherapy include easing arthritis pain,
improving circulation and aiding mobility.
Hydrotherapy also speeds up recovery times for rehabilitation
after surgery and/or injury.
A ½ hour session costs $7.00 per client; bookings essential.
A Doctors referral is not required to access the Hydrotherapy Pool.

Jamestown Gymnasium Fitness Centre
The Gymnasium Fitness Centre has a large range of fitness equipment available including
weight machines, treadmills, bikes, rowers, an elliptical cross trainer,
a stair climber and more.
Membership is open to anyone over 16 years of age and membership options
range from a 1 Day Pass through to a 12 Month Membership.

A membership benefit includes the convenience and flexibility of accessing the
Gymnasium Fitness Centre at anytime.
The Gym membership form below provides details of membership options
and prices. For enquiries or to obtain your membership
please call into the Council Office 94 Ayr Street, Jamestown.

Our council region is fortunate to have these valuable health facilities available
and encourage the community to use them to improve or maintain fitness
and promote general health and wellbeing.

these community health facilities.

Northern Passenger Transport Network

Assists people who cannot use or afford regular transport services or where no service exists. Transport may be provided by volunteer drivers or private transport services.

Eligibility – People living in the District Councils of Mount Remarkable, Orroroo Carrieton, Peterborough, Flinders Ranges Council and Northern Areas Council who are transport disadvantaged. Bookings required
