Flinders Mobile Library
The Flinders Mobile Library provides public library services to towns within the Mount Remarkable, Port Pirie and Northern Areas Councils. These towns are: Gladstone, Laura, Appila, Wirrabara, Redhill, Koolunga, Yacka, Port Germein, Napperby, Georgetown, Melrose, Wilmington, Gulnare, Spalding, Booleroo Centre and Murraytown. We also visit the primary schools in Gladstone, Laura, Wirrabara, Koolunga, Port Germein, Napperby, Georgetown, Melrose, Wilmington, Spalding and Booleroo Centre District School.
The library provides free library services to residents of these areas, which are each visited on a fortnightly basis throughout the year. Free internet access is available in the Library Truck for the use of Library Members.
The Flinders Mobile Library is part of the “one card” network of South Australian Public Libraries.
